Seaport Group was founded in 2004 in Denmark by Kent Busk. Over more than twenty years, the company has evolved into a consultancy specialising in the development, expansion and optimisation of logistics hubs — including seaports, rail terminals, intermodal (kombiterminal) facilities, integrated logistics centres and warehouse complexes.

We help clients and investors maximise the long-term value of their assets. Our work spans the entire project lifecycle: from bankable feasibility studies, financial and technical due diligence, site investigations and master planning, through detailed design, procurement and construction management, to commissioning and the successful launch of operations.
Seaport Group frequently acts as Lead Consultant and Project Manager for complex transformation programmes. This includes cargo terminal transitions (such as the ongoing redevelopment of Matrans Rotterdam Terminal), major organisational change initiatives, Terminal Operating System (TOS) procurement and integration, and the procurement and implementation of cranes, power infrastructure and Onshore Power Supply (OPS) systems.
Today, Seaport Group maintains registered offices in Europe and Sri Lanka. Our leadership and staff are seasoned professionals, each with 15–25 years of experience in the logistics, port and maritime sectors. We have directed multidisciplinary teams across high-value, international projects — consistently delivering solutions that are operationally robust, future-ready and commercially sound.
